July 3, 2009 - Welcoming Reception
Want to learn everything there is to know about cycling in Fitchburg? From Iver Johnson to Art Longsjo, bicycles have played a significant role in the history of our great city. Reconnect with past winners and VIPs at this invitation only event. Finish the evening with a spectacular fireworks display in downtown Fitchburg.

July 3-5, 2009 - Raleigh Boys Reunion
In 1973 Raleigh Bicycles was the first sponsor to fund and support the most prolific US cycling team of the modern era. This 14-man team containing seven Olympians, four Hall of Fame members and U.S. National team members, competed and won major cycling events throughout the US, Canada and Mexico during the early 1970’s. Join these original riders for an incredible weekend of memories!

The Longsjo has a rich and dynamic history. This once in a lifetime event will bring our past champions, future champions, VIPs, and all fans of the Longsjo together for one amazing experience. The event, held at the Courtyard by Marriott, Fitchburg, will feature a gourmet barbecue, silent auction, and a dramatic keynote presentation (details soon) on the life and legacy of Art Longsjo. July 5, 2009 - Longsjo Champions Ride
Ever wanted to ride with a legend? The 2009 Fitchburg Longsjo Classic can make that happen. During the morning of the Workers’ Credit Union Downtown Criterium, you’ll take a victory lap on the course, and then head out on a 20 mile loop, and chat with a variety of champions, including members of the Raleigh Boys! We’re working on the timing of the ride, so check back soon for details.

July 5, 2009 - Longsjo Champions Parade
If you’re not participating in the champions ride, you can still get up close and personal with our champions. With the help of Corvettes United, watch and wave to your heroes just prior to the start of the professional women’s criterium on Sunday July 5th, 2009.
