What’s Included:

What you get for the registration fee. Your Champions Ride experience will include:

1. Two ceremonial laps on the famous Longsjo Criterium course
   

2. 20 mile ride with returning champions, New England cycling icons, and members of the original Raleigh Boys team.
   

3. Secure bike parking after the ride

Fitchburg Cycling Club and the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic, invite competitive and recreational cyclists to attend the final stage of the 50th Annual Fitchburg Longsjo Classic by cycling to or around Fitchburg, enjoying our hospitality and entertainment, and using the MBTA commuter rail line. Advance registration is preferred, but same day registration is also welcome.  Check-in is located at the Backstretch Welcome Center located on the race course at the corner of Putnam St and Boulder Drive in downtown Fitchburg.                                                 

Fitchburg Routes – We are currently working on a number of possible routes that will be moderately challenging so that all levels of cyclist get the chance to ride with our champions.

MBTA Train Service – the Fitchburg Commuter Rail line originates in North Station and ends in downtown Fitchburg.  Schedules and fares are available on www.mbta.com.
