Where and When Do I pick up my race numbers?
Race number pick-up is at the Best Western from Noon to 9PM on Wednesday June 28, 2006. We are requiring day-ahead number pick-up because of past problems with people trying to pick-up their numbers just before their TT start time – in some cases missing the race entirely. A teammate can pick up your race number packet for you by presenting your USCF license and government issued photo ID, but you will still have to sign the waiver and release form before racing. We are hosting the massCycling EXPO at the Best Western at the same time, with admission free to all racers, so hopefully your visit on the 28th will be enjoyable.
Do I need to rent a car?
It depends on your needs and where you're staying. If you're staying at the Best Western Royal Plaza hotel, all courses are within 5 miles. Fitchburg State College is on the Circuit Race Course and two blocks from the Crit – the start of the road race is perhaps 10 miles away, though. The MART offers local transportation for riders, with advanced reservations.

Where can I watch the race?
All events are free to spectators at any point along the course, as long as you don't interfere with traffic. Many roads remain open to traffic, so be very careful wherever you choose to watch from. Princeton center is a good area to watch the road race from, and Pearl Street is ideal for watching the circuit race. The most popular event is the Downtown Criterium.
