The Non-profit Longsjo Foundation

The Longsjo Foundation hosts a time-honored, classic American cycling event, the Longsjo Classic—a community celebration of cycling, fitness, and health.

Established in 1960 in memory of 2-time Olympian Art Longsjo, the event commemorates the life and achievements of a remarkable athlete and person who left his mark on the Fitchburg community and generations of cycling fans. More than 1000 racers are expected to compete on the roads and streets that are an icon of American cycling. Thousands of spectators and race fans are once again expected to line the courses and attend the race expo each day. Racers, families, and spectators will throng to the place where racers have gone on to Olympic, World Championship, and Tour de France fame.

With a consistent, international following, a traditional onsite spectator base in the many thousands, front-page coverage in daily newspapers, a global social media and website presence, the Longsjo can be your opportunity to grow your business’ customer base, advertise your products, or deliver your organization’s message in a visual and active fitness-oriented format to a local, regional, national, and international audience. The following page outlines numerous sponsorship options for Corporate association with the Longsjo Classic.
